Napkin Apron

My crafty sister in law Jill, made an adorable apron out of napkins and of course since I love to use napkins and place mats in my crafts I decided I wanted to try it out. I had to wait a while to post it because it was a birthday present for one of my readers and I did not want to spoil the surprise! All I did was use a whole napkin for the bottom section and I folded (pleated the other Napkin for the top part. With the left over scrap from the top I made a pocket. I also used the ribbon for some embellishments. My sister in law's apron is so darling with the trim she sewed- I know that I am just not at that level of sewing yet!!!

So...you don't know who I am. I was introduced to your blog through a friend (Marianne Yamnik). Actually a bunch of the lovely ladies from our ward have links to your blog. We always talk about the cute things you do. I had planned on being a silent stalker:) However your chair make over is gorgeous! I want more details. You mentioned a friend help, so give it to me straight: is that a project we can do at home with a trusty staple gun and adorable fabric?
You are so creative, I love all your ideas. Thanks for sharing.

I promise that ALL of the crafts on my blog are fairly easy! I really did do the Chair with a friend, staple gun and cute fabric!!! That is why I did not take a picture of the back! Ha! No really- it is a great project to do just make sure you don't get a chair that needs sewing done! My friend who is a varsity reupholsterer (sp?word?) did some beauties but man did it look complicated- I will post those pics once she sends them to me!
