I can't for the life of me find the blog that I got this idea from! I hate that I can't give credit where it is due so I will keep trying to find it. Just know that this is not an original idea from my brain. I made this box for my niece while she came for a visit this week. I loved this idea because I remember being a kid that loved having a place to put my special things. These cigar boxes are in the unpainted wood section in most craft stores (I got this one @ Michael's 3.99) I just covered it with pretty paper inside and out and then filled it with fun things from dollar spot along with some homemade ideas. She loved her box and played with it throughout the week. I think I am going to have to make one for myself because I love it so much!

That is really a good idea especially for pre teens just starting to need a special place..I like the envelope in the lid..
