I recently put a desk in my Kitchen to make a little home office area for myself. I am hoping to get organized and not lose the bills I am in charge of paying (yes it happened last month- please forgive me chad?) so I have been looking for a cute idea for above the desk. I wanted to do a bulletin board or make a big chalkboard. I was looking through Martha's website and I came across this great idea of using old shutters for a message board. I might even paint my shudders blue or orange something unpredictable for my house. I will be sure to post pics when project is complete!

I am very excited to start this beautiful project. However, I hate it when Martha makes the pictures look so amazing! I hope mine turns out this nice!!! Thanks for the great idea! I will post pic's when I am finished. :D
