A great baby gift and fun to make for your own kiddos. This easy project takes very little money and time. You can even embellish them with ribbon, material or rik rak (sp?). Tess taught me how to do this- just want to give credit where credit is due!
What you need:
- one wash cloth
- one towel
- thread
- pins
- sewing machine (You probably could do it by hand since it isn't that much sewing)
What you do:
- pin the washcloth's edge to middle of towel's edge
- take the top of the washcloth and fold it in half and pin as well
- sew pinned edges together

I promised "Easy" and I delivered!!!!

hi there, love your blog. i wanted to try and make the hankie holder but the directions seem to be for a notebook cover/pencil holder. can you walk me through it or post instructions on how you did it. i am getting very inspired by all your craftiness. i made a sheet metal magnetic board for my kitchen that displays my cool magnets, postcards and pictures. i am not much of a cook. are you from snowflake? i grew up in st. johns.
Mindy;
So glad you enjoy the blog. I am having great feedback and I must admit it is great to have an ego boost every now and then when your only conversation during the day is with kiddos. About the hankie holders: The dimensions are 6.25 x 4.75 It is really simple if you iron the seams (make sure iron is on low setting) then just hand stitch or sew with machine the seams up the sides. If you need further instruction, feel free to e-mail me at amberrhoton@yahoo.com
