{it is time}

Heather Bailey's Studio

So here is the dealio- I am drowning................completely submerged in a crafting chaos. There is no nice way to put this- It SUCKS! I have always known crafting is messy but it is still a balancing act. If you get too messy the creative juices come to a halt. That is where I find myself. I have decided to give the ENTIRE house an organizational overhaul. Why?- that is just how I roll. None of this little project here and there stuff for me. I am all or Nothing baby! So my list includes the following:
  • Organize Kitchen cabinets
  • Organize linen closet
  • Organize Laundry room
  • Organize all crafting spaces
  • Organize Garage
  • And just for extra credit- organize the under house storage!!!

I know it is ambitious but I feel like after the summer we had I need to get things back in order. I will keep you posted on the outcome and who knows maybe some great crafting and decorating will be the result.

Wow!! I stumbled across your blog through www.thecreativecrate.blogspot.com

This is so me today!!! I have been taking before and after pics of my kitchen, as I organize! And, Heather Bailey's studio is my inspiration room for my sewing room! Love it! I will be visiting your blog as well from now on! Thanks!!

I'm on a get organized kick too. We recently moved into a new house and I'm trying to organize my craft space. I love what you did in you craft room many posts ago with your ribbon. I'm having a difficult time finding eye hooks that are like the ones you used. I got the dowel rod to put the ribbon spools on, but I tried lowes and Michaels and they don't have those hooks in the sizes you used. Where did you get them? If you can I would love you to email me with the answer. My email is nikibrat(at)verizon(dot)net.

Amen sister. My art room is a scene from hoarders. It wouldn't be so bad but I have zero cabinetry. I think I need to apply for some sort of organizational/design show. I'm convinced that's the only way it will ever get done.

I can't wait to see what you do.
