What's for Dinner?

Chad and I made this great menu board for our kitchen last week out of a scrap of sheet metal. The supplies are very inexpensive for this projects and it helps so much with your meal planning each week- I especially like having the recipe card clipped on the board because it is just one less step when it is time to make dinner and you are feeling a little unmotivated.
What you need:
Piece of sheet metal (around 2 dollars @ Home Depot)
little unpainted wooden squares (any craft store)
Magnets
Metal clips (I found these in a scrap booking section)
Chalkboard paint (I used the spray paint)
Ribbon
Drill
chalk
How you do it:
Drill two holes in the top of the sheet metal
paint wooden squares with the chalkboard paint
put ribbon through holes for hanging
place magnets on sheet metal
the metal clips do not have to be glued to the magnets they will stick on their own

This is a cute idea for the kitchen! Madisyn and Mason have simialr ones we made in their rooms as magnet boards to show off their stuff. They are fun and easy to make! I may have to do one in my kitchen now. I may have to make Maryn one as well while I am at it!

what a great idea, Amber!
Now, do you have an fast and easy way to make those meals appear on the table magically? I'm anxiously awaiting your creative mind to let me know how this is done :)

I love breakfast for dinner. And the idea is very cool as well. I have a feeling Brooke is going to be making one of these.
